Ok so here's the short version:
I started school and I LOVE it!
We bought a house and I LOVE it!
Now for the long version:
I'm loving A&M. My classes are going well so far. I have one prof that's kind of hard to understand, but I think I can use the book to figure out what he's trying to teach. He came from tu (hiss) and he didn't seem like he knew what he was doing, but I think he was really nervous so maybe it'll be okay. I can't believe how many people I know here. In my accounting class alone there are two people from my church (which really isn't a very big church, kinda strange huh?), two girls I met at transfer conference, and the quarterback from my high school football team. I was a little bit worried about being able to figure out which buses to take, but smart cookie that I am, I've figured it all out. Trying to find the building I'm looking for once I get off the bus has proved to be a little more challenging. I actually managed to walk right by the building my math class is in and spent about 15 minutes trying to find my way back. Anyway, except for that little excursion, I'm not having any trouble getting where I need to go. The weather has been pretty nice too. I actually got cold on my way to my 8:00 on Wednesday. I believe they call this "autumn" but I'll have to ask since we don't have this at home.
Ok so enough about school- on to my house. My house is the cutest thing ever, or at least it will be when I finish cleaning. We asked for a professional cleaning when we bought, but the owner offered to give us the washer and dryer instead, so we couldn't pass that up. This place is sooo dusty, though. The previous owners had three little dogs, and every time the a/c comes on I start sneezing. I've been shaking out the curtains and vacuuming, but there's still a lot of work to be done. My parents are bringing my cat this weekend, so maybe she can help (yeah right).
I guess that's about it. I have homework to do, so I better cut this off. GIG 'EM!

I should be studying, but I'm doing this instead
Ok, I know I should be studying for my final, but I needed a break. I'm so glad my class is almost over. I really like the teacher, but I need a break from school.
On a different but related note, I'm still homeless. My mom's coming to look at more houses tomorrow with our new realtor, so hopefully she'll find something good. I'm really excited about school starting, but I would be a lot more excited if I had a place to live.
Ok I'm feeling recharged and ready to study some more. If Bill has 3 red socks, 7 blue socks and 11 white socks what happened to the rest of his socks?

Sooo..... Can you tell I've been busy? Yeah, probably not- you probably just thought I was ignoring you and maybe I was maybe I wasn't, but if I didn't call you back or e-mail or anything go cry to someone else 'cause I'm busy.
Busy as I am one would think that I'd have something to show for it, but sadly I don't. No, I take that back, I did get my first test back and I did really well, and I got a really cute dress the other day when I went shopping, but other than that I haven't accomplished much. Right now the biggest reason for my lack of accomplishment is the fact that I'm in an unfamiliar place. I swear I average about thirty minutes a day driving around lost. All I have to say is Thank God for through streets.
Ok, so if you know me then you know that my family is trying to buy a house in College Station. If you don't know me, then I have to question why you're taking the time to read all this because I'm not that interesting, though I am kind of a big deal. Just kidding (no I'm not.) Anyway. It seems like every time we find a house we like we start looking into buying it and we find out that there's something wrong with it. It's so frustrating!! We're going to look at a few more tomorrow morning, so wish me luck. Yeah, on that note I should probably finish this post. Hasta la pasta.

Ok, so I've been gathering up everything I need and I think I'm almost done. I'm going to need a couple of moving trucks to get it there, but that's just how it goes. I still have to get a rug and maybe some kind of small table and a few chairs. I think I'm going to wait on the table though since I already have so much stuff to take. Hope the Target in College Station knows I'm comin'. Break over- back to the shopping wars.
